Attributing Lordicon

To use animated icons for free in personal or commercial projects you must attribute Lordicon.

Provide the following URL on the website that will be using Lordicons.

You can also use: “Animated icons by Lordicon.com”

Usecases

  • Websites. Please put the link in the footer if the icons are used on each page.

  • Mobile apps. Please put the link on the About page, with an acknowledgment in the app description on the App Store/Google Play page. If the application doesn’t have an About section, please reference Lordicon on the app website instead.

  • WordPress Plugins. Please add a link on the plugin's Settings page and the plugin page.

  • Desktop software. Please put the link on the About page.

  • Chrome Extensions. Please add the link to the description in the Chrome Web Store, and, if it doesn't ruin your layout, somewhere in your Settings.

  • YouTube. Please put the link in the description area or video credits.

  • Amazon or eBay product pages. You can put the link in the footer.

  • Games. Please put the link in the Credits section.

  • Social media posts. Please place the link in the description section or the post itself.

  • PDF, Excel, Word (or any other document), ebooks, and printed editions. Please put the URL anywhere in the document.

  • Physical goods (books, boxes, brochures, T-shirts, etc.). If possible, place a legible reference to Lordicon on your website or the physical product itself.
