Under the Standard PRO license, Lordicon grants the User (via Paddle) a worldwide, royalty-free, non-sublicensable, irrevocable, and non-exclusive license to use both paid and free icons. This license:
- (i) Is limited in time.
- (ii) Allows up to 1 million CDN requests per month for icons used via Embed HTML integration,
- (iii) Does not require author attribution (no credit needed).
The User must comply with these terms and the Terms and Conditions.
2.1. Moral rights, such as the right of integrity, are not licensed under granted license, nor publicity, privacy and/or other similar personality rights. However, to the extent possible, Lordicon waives and/or agrees not to assert any such rights held by it to the limited extent necessary to allow the User to exercise the paid and free icons according to the terms stated herein and other provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
2.2. Lordicon authorizes the User to use the icons in all media and formats (subject to point 2.4. regarding limitations), in particular in the form of icons for web, mobile, and computer projects, video, graphical user interface (GUI), print, applications, computer games and presentations whether now known or hereafter created. The User is also allowed to make technical modifications as needed for these uses. However, making such modifications alone does not create a derivative work under the granted license.
2.3. The User is permitted to:
- (i) Use icons for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
- (ii) Incorporate icons into an unlimited number of projects or products.
- (iii) Use icons only as part of a larger work or derivative work,
- (iv) Distribute and use the derivative work or any project containing the icon in a non-exploitative manner.
- (v) Edit or modify the icons, while acknowledging that all copyright and intellectual property rights, whether the icons are edited or not, remain with Lordicon.
- (vi) Use, distribute, share, and create derivatives of the icons without author attribution (no credit required).
- (vii) use icons as part of a service mark, logo, or app icon, except for trademarks (registered or unregistered).
2.4. The User is not permitted to:
- (i) Resell, trade, rent, lend, assign, gift, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the icons in their original or modified form as standalone files, whether for free or for profit.
- (ii) Use the icons as the core feature of a product, such as an icon library or icon pack.
- (iii) Claim copyright, ownership, or any intellectual property rights over the icons or any part of them.
- (iv) Use the icons or their derivatives in content that is pornographic, fraudulent, obscene, immoral, infringing, illegal, blasphemous, or defamatory.
- (v) Include icons in HTML templates or themes, unless the Lordicon API Terms and License conditions are met.
2.5. Nothing in this granted license constitutes or may be construed as permission to assert or imply that you are or that your use of the icons is connected with, or sponsored, endorsed, or granted official status by Lordicon.
2.6. Within the PRO License, the User may share icon collections with a limited number of Guest Users, who will be granted view-only permissions. Guest Users with view-only access can download PRO-licensed icons from the shared collection as long as the inviting User’s PRO license remains active. To view a collection, Guest Users must log in or create an account if they do not already have one. Once the account is created, invitations to the collection are accepted automatically.
